Zum heurigen Osterfest hat sich Regisseurin Sandra Rak in dieser Neuproduktion einige der schönsten dieser Kirchen angesehen und erzählt in ihrem Film, wie sie die Gegend und die Menschen in den Regionen prägen.

Austria’s Most Beautiful Alpine Churches
Picturesque chapels, scenic church towers, romantic panoramas—Austria’s Alpine and pre-Alpine landscapes would be incomplete without these many small churches. Stories and traditions are woven around each of these houses of worship. They are often preserved solely because local residents tend to these gems on a voluntary basis, using their tireless dedication to transform them into places of gathering and community. For this year’s Easter celebration, director Sandra Rak visited some of the most beautiful of these churches for this new production; her film explores how they shape the landscape and the people of the region.
